Stunning 2-Bedroom Flat in Slough

In need of some basic maintenance to make it more comfortable. Positive: Good location, free parking space in the basement of the building. Spacious apartment. Negative: We booked for five people so we needed the couch in the living room as a bed. The couch was not made up and there were no linens available. Also the table had only four chairs. Not convenient when travelling with a family of five. The drawer for the cutlery was broken and there were only a couple of spoons and knives. There were two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. The mixer of the shower did not work - we only got very hot water. The walls in the batroom had cracks due to moisture. The windows do not close well and we had an apartment on the ground floor near the main entrance of the building. So it was quite noisy both from the vehicles in the street and the people entering the building.

I don’t recommend this apartment Positive: Parking facility is amazing, right under the building. Negative: The windows don’t close well and are broken, also the sound of vehicles passing around makes your sleep miserable, you feel like sleeping on street. Other negative point are, the rooms get really hot and there are no fans provided. If you open windows, later closing them is a challenge and the sound of vehicles literally make you feel sleep on street. Toilets are unclean, plumbing is totally messed up, one of the toilets shower mixer dose not work and hot water form both cold and hot faucets makes it impossible to use. The gypsum in toilet smells mould. No dishwasher and the basic kitchen stuff like knifes are not available. Cleaning staff starts chasing you before a day to checkout, even though we checked out on time, the cleaning staff keeps reminding you about checkout frequently, they also leave the cleaning material hours before the check out. Overall it’s not suitable for a peaceful stay.

Was nice enough place apart from few niggles that need addressed Positive: Location is handy for the airport . Negative: In main bedroom I opened glass door to let fresh air in and door fell off wall on top hinge , had to jam door with furniture I felt insecure at night . There was no coat hangers on clothes rails . Toilet was dirty . Cutlery drawer was broken on arrival . The flat blocks are not clearly sign posted outside so if you arrive at night you don’t know where to go ! No terrestial free view day time channels on TV ?
