Looked better in the photos Positive: Ease of check-in was very good. Bed was ok. Negative: Very narrow and quite steep staircase up to and within the flat. The bath/shower had moldy chalking, didn’t drain well. Same for the sink.

Charming Stay in the Heart of Kensington Positive: We spent three wonderful days in this apartment in London and were very happy with our choice! It’s a cozy and spacious two-level flat with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms, located in the prestigious Kensington area. The photos on Booking accurately reflect reality. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the kitchen had everything we needed β€” from appliances to dishes β€” which made our stay very comfortable. We really enjoyed walking through the beautiful Holland Park, located just nearby, as well as exploring the Kensington area with its charming historic buildings. A Waitrose supermarket is just a 5-minute walk away, and there’s a bus stop right across the street. Bus number 9 runs every 10 minutes and conveniently took us to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, the Natural History Museum, and the Victoria & Albert Museum. High Street Kensington underground station is a 12-minute walk (or 3 bus stops) away, and Earl's Court Station is about a 15-minute walk. The host was very polite and responded quickly to our messages. The keys were in a convenient lockbox near the entrance, and we received the code a day before check-in β€” very convenient and stress-free. Our overall experience was extremely positive! It was especially interesting to stay in a historic building and enjoy a real London atmosphere. We’d be happy to stay here again! Negative: The only minor downside is that the beds are 140x190 cm, which might be a bit small for two people. However, having two separate bedrooms more than made up for this.
